“When I started reading The Woman of Northern Cuisine, I couldn’t tell if it was referring to a woman in person or three.
Words, full of images, flavors, smells, emotions. He lured me from the present to the past. You identify to live the constant psychological reversals, the moments, but also the waste of time.Next year, you don’t have one in front of you anymore.
In this book the characters were built on an internal monologue, which is also the “foundation stone” of the author’s writing.”

“And as time goes by, it’s enough for me to stare at my own hand, in this familiar and sometimes strangely unknown, like a rune,
writing to turn symbols into faces with flesh and blood – as a life in the Northern Kitchen turns the dough
in a musco-smelling madeleine.”
