VIKY BAFATAKI – Culture Award
She’s lovely and sought after internationally. She is a unique ambassador of Greek Culture, working with fervor to promote our country and its people.
At the same time, she manages to be a wife and a mother, beautiful and witty.
As Greeks, we have the honour, Secretary General of the Giuseppe Sciacca Awards, (Giuseppe Saka) to be a special Greek, the Archaeologist – Communicator, Vicky Baffalaki.
The International Giuseppe Sciacca Awards, based in the Vatican, are one of the world’s largest institutions that promote culture, scientific and social volunteering and human values.
Mrs. Vicky Bfataki was born in Alexandroupolis, grew up in Xanthi and lives in Athens. He studied History – Archaeology, Communication & Media but also Italian language and Literature.
In 2005 he took part in the Competition of Scientists of the GiuseppeSciacca International Awards, in the field of Communication, where he was first among 362 participants.
She received a special award for her contribution to culture, volunteering and the work of the Awards. In 2009 she became a member of the Jury (the highest body of the Awards), while in 2012, she was awarded the title of Secretary General.
For her contribution she was honoured by the Council of State, became Director General of the International Institute of Legal, Economic and Social Studies in Rome and a member of the Scientific Committee.
He was awarded the Prize for Social & Voluntary Contribution to Humanity by the Ivorian Diaspora, Abidjan, Ivory Coast.S
he was awarded the Title of Nobility “Dama de Merito de Honor” by the Order of the Knights of Emperor Constantine and is Head of Public & International Relations at the Scientific Association of Graduates of the University of Athens. She has received the title of “Ambassador of Italian Culture around the world” from università per Stranieri di Perugia.
He founded the Greek Secretariat of the Giuseppe Sciacca Awards, with the aim of promoting our country and its culture and especially the promotion of remarkable Greeks abroad, several of whom have received important awards.
Perhaps the secret of this distinct and multifaceted personality is what she has stated in an interview. “Magic combination is the beauty of our soul and what we carry within us… Everything can coexist in a woman, as long as she listens to the signs offered by life, the people she meets and the different, inner part.”
